How to nail River Sledding

Admit it, we all know we’re going to be awesome out there on the water, right?

A few tricks can help you get the most out of your trip down the river.  When we first get in the water, have a practice at turning your sled around in a circle, reversing and going sideways.  It’s also a good chance to practice getting back onto the sled after a dunk in the river.

The rocks are a lot of fun.  You can see them coming, even paddle to avoid them, but somehow still end up stuck.  Give your sled a bit of a wiggle and you’ll be free in no time.

No one goes down the river without getting stuck on a rock.  The most fun is when you end up going backwards or sidewards.  By this time, you’re having too much fun and just going with the flow. The water is fresh and clear.  In the calmer parts you can have a go at sitting on your sled, how long can you last before you fall off?
