Mole Creek Caves

The Mole Creek Caves are the ultimate adventure activity to do in Tasmania featuring over 300 caves, the main two being Marakoopa and King Solomons Caves. Said to be the home of the Palittorre of the Aboriginal Tribe, it’s an exquisite experience to recreate these times in our own imaginations. What makes them so special is that they are among the most accessible caves in Tasmania - well worth a look!

Liffey Falls Tasmania

Add this to your list of things to do near Launceston - tucked away in the foothills of the Greater Western Tiers, Liffey Falls State Reserve is surrounded by cool temperate rainforest and is part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.

Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm

Chocolate coated fresh raspberries, need we say more? There’s also a delicious full lunch menu, takeaways including homemade raspberry ice cream and raspberry infused coffee. The perfect place to refuel after sledding the Meander River or heading to Cradle Mountain.

Westbury Maze

Once you’ve tackled the Meander River, why not make your way through the traditional two metre high hedge maze made up of twists, turns and pathways in Westbury. Once you’ve made it to the other side reward yourself at the cafe which serves up yummy treats and refreshments.

Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary

A Meander Valley favourite, head here to see Tasmanian Devils and learn all about Tasmania’s native flora and fauna. There are daily tours, plus you can visit the Devil Education and Research Centre to hear all about devils in the wild and as an endangered species.
